ChildFirst™ Mississippi is an intensive 40-hour training on how to effectively interview children regarding allegations of felony child abuse. It is designed for investigative and legal professionals who work in the field of child protection.
This course provides child abuse professionals a comprehensive introduction to a forensic interview process designed to improve their ability to effectively and reliably interview children about felony child abuse.
Seating in each ChildFirst class is limited to 25 students and preference is given to Multidisciplinary Team Members. You must be an investigative or legal professional working in the state of Mississippi to attend this training.
Each student will be given a written examination at the end of the course and the examination must be passed in order to complete the course. In addition, each student will be expected to complete role-play interviews as part of the learning experience.
