August 29 (Jackson) & August 30 (Hattiesburg) - Responding to an Unexplained Child Death

Children's Advocacy Centers of Mississippi and Fox Valley Technical College are happy to offer a free Responding To An Unexplained Child Death training in 2 areas of the state of Mississippi. These day long trainings are open to law enforcement first responders and detectives, EMTs, medical providers and emergency room staff, coroners, child protection service investigators and special investigators, forensic interviewers, victim advocates, mental health providers, county prosecutors and district attorneys, and judges. Preference is given to child abuse multidisciplinary teams, child death investigators, college students interested in child abuse investigations, and child abuse investigation instructors.
